ShareOregon Terms of Use
ShareOregon is a web service that may only be used in accordance with these terms of use. We reserve the right to change these terms of use as needed.
Rights of Content
Users retain the right to all text, images, and other content that they create in ShareOregon. Users allow others to utilize the content in accordance with the nature of the service and furthermore allow ShareOregon to file information and data and make changes that are necessary for the service. Users also agree to allow images, text, and other content to be shared though other social media outlets. However, other rights are not transferred from the users unless specifically otherwise agreed.
The responsibility for the content lies with the user, who has produced it for ShareOregon. The service provider has the right to remove any material when it deems it necessary.
Disclaimer
No guarantees of the functioning of the ShareOregon service are given. The users are themselves responsible for their actions in the service and they should estimate the reliability of other users before dealing with them. The service provider can under no circumstances be liable for damage that is caused to the user. The user may not store any information or data in the service and expect it to remain there.
The Removal of a User
ShareOregon has the right to remove any users from the site and terminate their right of use of the service without any specific reason and without being liable for compensation.
Refunds / Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations should be on a case by base basis. Whenever you offer a service, clearly identify if you have a cancellation policy, and if you do, the terms. Users should notify service providers as quickly as possible if they need to cancel and/or are requesting a refund. We are not responsible for refunds or cancellation and do not offer a guarantee; we can only refund the payment from PayPal with the consent of both parties.
Privacy Policy
Personal information is collected to make communication and use of service possible. It is only used for communication between ShareOregon and users and also for direct communication between users. Some personal details are visible on the profile page of the user, but those details are voluntary (except first name).
ShareOregon will not sell or disclose personal information to third parties. We do everything we can to ensure security, including processing and storing content on secure servers that are protected by physical and technological security.
Passwords
Users agree to choose a strong password and keep it secure. It is also a good idea to change it periodically. We store passwords in an encrypted format to help keep them secure, but users are fully responsible for all activity, damage, and liability resulting from failure to maintain password confidentiality.
Users agree to immediately notify ShareOregon of any unauthorized password use or any breach of security. Users also agree that ShareOregon will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to keep passwords secure.
Applicable Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction that is applicable in this service and these terms of use is that of the United States of America.
Agreement
Users agree to these Terms of Use by using ShareOregon.
