I'm a 4th generation Oregonian. Born and raised in Portland. My GG Grandmother came across the Oregon Trail via Ox Cart Wagon when she was 6 years old. My family settled in Douglas County, when they passed, their land was donated to the county and now rightly named Sutherlin in their honor.
