Photography Workshops with Pros in Central Oregon

These are two of the many photography workshops and classes you can sign up for at the Cascade Center of Photography in Bend:

Landscape & Nature Photography Workshop

Join us for a weekend of in-depth instruction and incredible landscape photography. This small, intimate group will have the unique opportunity to view and photograph two of Central Oregon’s iconic vistas: hidden Scott Lake and Sparks Lake as well as sights along the McKenzie Pass, located high in the Cascade Mountains of Central Oregon. Scott Lake provides a unique view of the Three Sisters volcanic peaks, with a spectacular sunset background.Viewing South Sister across a beautiful body of water at first light is a photographer’s dream and is truly a magical experience. Join noted professional photographer Charlie Borland and his assistant for this weekend of chasing the light in one of the world’s most beautiful settings.

Landscape and Night Sky Photography Workshop

Night is one of the most beautiful times to photograph the landscape. Despite the obvious challenges, digital photography has made it possible to capture stunning images in the night that previously would not have been possible. Join photographer Charlie Borland for an exciting Landscape & Night Sky Photography Workshop.

This workshop will begin with an afternoon classroom session on camera techniques for night landscape photography followed by a night time field session. The next day the class will meet back at the Cascade Center of Photography where Charlie will teach some of his favorite techniques for digitally developing night images.

These workshops look amazing! Is there a lot of hiking to get to each location, or is it more of a park and walk a few feet kind of situation?
