If you're looking for a winter adventure, look no further than Little John Sno Park. Open to snowshoeing and cross country skiing, but mostly used for sledding, this spot is very popular. Although it might be busy, it does have the added bonus of two large sledding hills, a warming hut and bathrooms.
Pro tip: Pack some firewood and a picnic, as you'll notice people tailgating in the parking lot. Little John Sno Park is located 30 miles South of Hood River off of Highway 35.
Only tubes or plastic sleds are allowed on the hill. Snow mobiles, wooden runner sleds, or snow boards are not allowed on the tube hill.`
Sno-park permit required is required during the winter. These are $4/day or $25 for an annual permit.
