Portland Central Library

The Central Library is a great place to visit if you love beautiful historic buildings or just books! It is a three-story public library branch listed on the National Register of Historic Places in downtown Portland. It houses an excellent children’s library and art and music library, as well as other special features including a Room for Writers and a gallery on the third floor.
